Hi folks, I'm running C4D R18 on my OS X machine and I have downloaded and installed the necessary driver and Octane stand alone. I've restarted my machine and when I open C4D, Octane does not appear in my menu or plugins section. I can launch Octane on it's own but all the videos I've seen working with Octane are using it inside C4D.
My question is: Does the demo not have a plugin to connect with C4D? If not how do I work with Octane using C4D as my modeling program? I've looked into render settings and Octane is not there as an option.
Does anyone have a recent OS X video install/how to use Octance with C4D?

C4D Octane Stand Alone Demo
The Standalone version does not contain any additional plugins.
What you need is to install the plugin for C4D which you can find in the downloads section here:

The "Download" link will redirect you to the forum post where that plugin version has been published.
I recommend you to take a look at the docs to get started:

please update your Maxon Cinema 4D to R18.041, otherwise the plugin cannot be loaded.
Please follow the instructions in the readme.txt file.
