Hi,
I'm wondering if the addition of Octane renderer into Unity will now mean the playback of higher resolution 360 video and photos in GearVR apps built with Unity. Is this a correct assumption and if so is there somewhere I can read further details about how this will work and how it can be implemented?
Cheers

Nobody has any thoughts on this?
I should admit some confusion here.. I know Octane is a renderer, but I noticed that OrbX allowed high resolution playback off 360 stereo photos on GearVR, so was wondering if this is related in any way to Octanes capabilities, and whether any of this will mean we can achieve higher resolutions for both video and still imagery in Unity built apps for GearVR?
