I am presently working on a folding paper project and was wondering if Octane can do double sided materials in some way like C4D does with normals.
I cant really use double geometry as it will quickly get really messy and awkward.

Hi dermotfaloon,
for fast translucency effect on single side polygons, you can use the transmission channel in the Diffuse material.
Try to use the same texture or color of the Diffuse channel, but more lighter and less saturated (with images you can lower the gamma).
