License Menu Glitched (Can't Use)

can't use the plugin.
has anyone seen the license menu glitched like that shown in the attachment?
and possible fixes? i tried reinstall with different versions etc all the same.

It actually offset keys so when you type it enters the key two spaces away!
we figured out the keys to use to make the login details but it still said invalid details.

3.05 for cinema 4d R17 & standalone MacOSX
(it is a Hackintosh, I've posted over at TonyMacX86 but I'm 50/50 on whether it's Otoy or Hack related)
i've tried previous versions of the cinema 4d / standalone combos, all the same results though

maybe "in addition" to this location, as it's the same thing when trying to open standalone version

Reset fontbook
Use Internet Octane Details (new login details etc)
