Hi Ahmet,
having some trouble with this version when using scatter. Increasing the scatter count leads always to render failure and CUDA error 700.
Scene incl. Octane log attached.
Please have a look into it - maybe I am doing something wrong?

Have you ever installed standalone by their installer? Or manually set TDR timeouts?

With the new version I also have very often those CUDA 700 and CUDA 719 errors...
When working with instances its crashing every 15 minutes...

Dont know if its the Nvidia Driver / Iam on the newest one...

With which kind of content in details? Just saying this without more details doesn't help.

It's crashing on me too. Reporting. Thanks for scene.
Btw: It's like a problematic case for renderer with lot of instances on very small areas due bad distribution of instances.

With which kind of content in details? Just saying this without more details doesn't help.

I have one plane with a displacement (heightmap) and one model with many polygons which I have to clone....5...6 .. times as an instance.
Sorry I cant give you the c4d. file with this model. Maybe I can test it with some other stuff.
I had also a spline in my scene.
I unchecked "Check Camera.."
Octane crashed when I changed for example the position of one of those instances.

I will test out some things - maybe I can send you a scene then.

I installed it with their installer. What means TDR timeout?

Can you put your settings/other here? What's C4D version numbers?
iMac - OSX 10.11.6
4GHz i7 - 24 GB RAM
2x GTI 980 Ti on eGPU Thunderbolt Bizon BOX
C4D R17.055

Maybe it's a problem of the eGPU?

I have the same problem. Very slow material previews. Macbook Pro 2016 with 1xBizon Box eGPU. i hope there is a fix.
Win 10x64, AMD 1950x 16C/32T, RAM 32Gb, 4x EVGA GTX 1080Ti, Octane-for-C4D 4.x.x, Nvidia 398.82

Can you give me some idea?
Where's textures? How much is number of preview samples?
