it is bringing my system into freezes, so that i cant actually use it at all.

I read there is a topic about this thingy already in this froum, but cant find it here.

basicly i have two gpu cards inside the Computer, and two in the cluster,
so 4 overall. Wich should fine i guess.

You should try to disable the "use for tonemap" option for the external GPUs. At least in the LightWave plugin, I've seen a lot of issues with the external GPUs if this option is enabled.

For all who use Amfeltec:

Disable the preview image in Octane render options.

For some reason, most PCs freeze without this setting.
We use 4 clusters and practically everywhere we need to have this setting for OCT3.

Preview rendering can be manually checked by saving the image to PNG during rendering.

And one more thing:

Do not use too large a window for IPR than about HD ready size, but rather smaller

I forgot to add that we use Lightwave 3D and this does not work in the standalone. We think the problem is that the rendering preview is a cloud-based data transfer that only runs on 1x16 PCIe

Octane 2 does not have this problem.
