Dear Community,

I have the feeling I need to update my PC stats , because renders are very slow. (See attachment for PC Stats).
In addition I have a GeForce GTX 760 and

What would you adjust/add in order to boost your renders significantly?

Thanks in advance,

Martin

Hi, you should change your gpu, it's very old plus it's a low end, so ... even with a 1060 you should feel a great improvement in your render time, but, by my experience, you should go for gtx 1070 because it got the best perf/price ratio with the 1080Ti.

Cheers

You can just add it, and you can use both for Octane rendering, after, it depends on your PSU wattage

I've had some help in the past configuring my PC from scratch. Were exactly do I place the newly ordered GTX 1070?
MY PSU Wattage is attached, including the inside of my PC.

And one final question redarging the graphic cards. I found two:

MSI GeForce GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G
NVidia GeForce GTX 1070 "

Quick forum search stated that the MSI is better, but I was wondering what you think?

Thanks again man.

Do you have docs for your motherboard? That will tell you how many PCIe slots you have.
