Sharing another of my renders. Rendered using Daylight with skymap set. Used PT instead of PMC as it created a more striking highlight on the skin. The Skin material is based on Tonyscluptor's R20 skin material but with a lot of edits over months of RnD and test renders. This one works perfectly when the light is behind the camera. I have given up trying to create one skin material that works in all situations. So basically creating multiple ones to handle multiple lighting conditions.

My variation of the Widowmaker from Overwatch. If she got into modeling. :)

Technically not my first image but I'm really happy with the final result.

Rendered on a GTX 1080.
Pathtracer - 3000 samples.
Diffuse Depth -7
Sepcular depth - 6

The skin shader is based on the Tonysculptor skin shader but heavily modified.

Messing with Medium Volume Environment, IES LIghts, and a Medium Volume wall...

Basically:
(1) A figure, in a
(2) Primitive cube composed of a 'medium' wall (the cube is hollow as is not a true VDB with volume, so is a shell), with an
(3) IES Light shining at her (a Swirl pattern), in a
(4) Medium Dense Environment
Texture Environment (Maroon-red) with a main 2nd IES light, shadows cast against the 'Medium' wall
Texture Environment (Maroon-red) with a main 2nd IES light, shadows cast against the 'Medium' wall
Daylight Environment only, no shadows cast against the 'Medium' wall
Daylight Environment only, no shadows cast against the 'Medium' wall

Sharing another 2 of my latest renders. Have worked on the skin material of my character a bit more. I used PT and the sample count ranged from 80,000 to 120,000. But with the adaptive sampling turned on, it did the renders pretty fast.
