Hi,

For some reason I'm not getting the displacement right.
It tiles, even if I turn it off in the attributes manager.
I've tried all types of mapping in the attributes manager and the projection dialogue in the shader isn't doing anything no matter what I change about it.
It does for some reason do the one image on top of the surface in bump, but that's not enough for me, I would love to get some displacement going and build this weird thing into a reel tin.

What to do?

In the image uploaded, the left hand side is displacement, the right hand side is the bump channel settings in the projection option.

Hi yorobi,
please, see this other discussion:

In short, you need to give the border with Gimp or PS, or use Bodypaint to place the displacement correctly.

Thanks Beppe!

been trying that, but no worky so far.. I kind of found a cheat where I put the displacement on a single polygon object and then place it on top.. but good to know how to work around these things the proper way.
