It's a beast of a laptop, and apparently it uses desktop GPUs. I believe they are slightly custom cards or something to fit in their cases, but it's not the mobile versions of cards. I spoke with someone from the company yesterday on the phone and they assured me that the cards are both installed and show up in device manager. I guess I'd have to disable SLI, but two cards in a laptop like that would be great for on-site client work. I've been landing more and more on-site gigs that are heavily 3D, and it's tough to convince all of my clients to just allow me to work from home. This would allow me to work on-site, then come home and throw both machines at renders overnight.
My only concern would be heat issues, but they seem to have spent some time with the air flow on this thing.
