Hi,
It's a while I meet this problem and never found a solution.
When I use a decal mesh with a alpha image over a mesh with a material set with dirt texture, the result is the decal minus alpha as expected but with a dark rectangle covering the decal, if I remove the dirt texture, the result is ok. The alpha shadow is activated in the kernel, though on or off it doesn't change anything.
Any idea ?
Thanks

Hi Enrico,
the only thing that comes to my mind is to bake the dirt before applying the decal.
