Background Image Sequence

Does Octane for Modo currently support image sequences or video files for the background? I'm trying to composite over some video and it doesn't looks like it's possible yet.

At the moment Octane does not composite the background image into the render that is saved to png/exr. And the plugin accordingly does not support image sequences or video files for the background (it only allows a single image file to be selected as the background image). You could however probably control the background image filename via python if needed, but you would need Modo python skills to do this.

Thanks Paul,

I suppose at the moment in terms of workflow it may make sense to just set up the shadow catcher, models, and mats with regular Modo shaders and switch everything to Octane for final renders and just sweat the compositing in After Effects. Octane 4 perhaps with moving backgrounds?
