look in the Help/Tutorial section, the "IES Meshlight scene" topic,
there is a Maya example scene containing several way to setup IES light with a mesh material.

ok perfect, exactly what i was looking for.
maybe you could help me with another issue i have i don't know why. when i'm using HDR light in my scene everything woks fine with IPR, works like a charm.
as soon i put an octane light or a mesh with light shader the IPR computes and stops before i have the time to say it, i have a gtx 770 i use for displays only and a titan x pascal i use for the rendering, any idea? btw, do you speak french?
