So, I've been using Octane for a few months. I've gotten the hang of most everything... except for templating.
It seems like a really useful feature, but I can find scant documentation.
Basically, I want to be able to use LiveDB materials as templates the same way I use RedSpec's skin materials.
Right now, I need to download the LiveDB material and then manually change the textures. With RedSpec, the textures stay.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is there a templating tutorial?

It's extremely easy once somebody tells you how to do it
Select an image node and check the "templating" box in the right-side menu. Then you chose which type of map you want to load, and that's it. Your node turns green to show that it's now templated. If you selected diffuse as source, next time you load the material onto a scene object, Octane will load the material and apply the object's difuse map.
