I've been playing with a simple scene (gradient texture) in Octane node graph and got this bug report at crash:
Hi - can you send me the scene pls?

Thanks

Paul,

Here you are. Let me know if it also crashes on your machine.

Yes - it crashes for me too. And the nodegraph node in the schematic throws Cuda errors in Octane Standalone too - so it looks like an Octane engine issue, and I have reported it to Otoy.

Thank you. So first - standalone must be corrected?

Hi Paul, getting some strange results with the nodal environment (Use RGB Color)

Here's the basic node tree:
node_env_01.jpg
Which looks as it should:
env_house_01.jpg
Then I add an Octane Color Correction node:
node_env_02.jpg
And it messes with the gamma or something:
env_house_02.jpg
I'm sure I saw a video you made showing this setup for colour correcting environments, I'm sure I tested it at the time and it did work on an earlier build.

Cheers,
Dino.

How do I gain nodal control over this input? As opposed to inputting the number manually, I'd like to connect a node to control this value.

Your question has helped me with a dilemma I have been working through today. I would have never thought about this approach. So ThankYou!
Maybe I can help with your question.
What are the values you have plugged in for the Color Corrections?

Just a default Colour Correction node, no values have been changed.
