Here is wip1 version which's based on 3.06-test SDK. I don't open new thread for this until it's ready for that. Note that this a really dirty and wip version. Some features are partially uncompleted like groups in NE or another addons for Node Editor.
Don't delete any files in archive file. Just delete previous content of c4doctane directory and unpack whole content to same location. And don't forget to use minimum 18.039 version for R18.
Also if you have a plugin crash please post bugreport.zip here. It hopefully will give more readable debug information.

Wow! Just tried out the adaptive sampling on a current job that has a lot of pure black area and some specular areas. Nearly halved the time needed! I need to experiment with the noise threshold a bit more as I guess this is key to finding the correct balance.

Probably nobody is interested about this issue, and everyone is amazed by adaptive sampling, still this is a large issue for me and the rest of us using FealFlow Cinema4d plugin.
The render in the viewport is working fine, the same in Octane window. The render in picture viewer is crashing Cinema4d.
This is the latest fully licensed RF plugin for C4D.
This issue was solved in one of the previous updates. Now it is back again.
Unfortunately I have a deadline at 28th, and I hope I won't have to use Cinema4d render engine.
