[c4d] material node problem/frozen

Hi to everyone guys,
just bought my new laptop asus rog 502 with a gtx 1070.
i'm starting saying that i'm using the full license on my workstation in the office without problem, unless few chashes sometines.
here it's almost impossible to work.
when i try to oper the material window it takes more or less 30 sec to be available.
after it is, if i open the node editor i have the same problem...every time i try to change some setting c4d look frozen and take 20-30 secs to be normal again.
is this a problem only with the demo problem?or a common one?
i'd like to try with the subrsciption version but i don't want to waste money if the problem persist in that version as well.

Do you have big textures or lot of c4d shaders in this materials? Disable material and opengl previews and test it.

actually i don't. the scene is white and i'm placing the first material. the vram is about 360Mb/8 gb.
can you tell me where to disable the material and opengl preview?

Ok so forgot what i said for previews. This is not expected result as you can estimate from other pc.

i tried anyway,
with preview, in nodes, off didn't change.
with openGL off didn't change.
i didn't try with both off yet.
but the weird thing is that didn't happen when i was trying the demo on my old laptop, even though the GPU was the 860M and now i have the 1070

What do you see in console output on load? Did you removed unnecessary octane. plugin versions?

this is what i see in the consolle:

in the plugins folder there is only the demo version, and i left only the r18 license because i have c4d R18

It may be about your hardware or version that you're using. I've notified that's old demo and not matching latest stable (3.05.3).
