i am trying to get a realistic ice tea material but and have gotten to an ok stage but am still not satisfied.

my problem is with the subsurface scattering. no matter what i try i just cannot get any scattering going.

im plugging various nodes and trying extreme values but nothing seems to be happening.

can anyone please give me some pointers?
im using real world scale and path tracing.

thank you,

also wondering how the liquid content should be best setup with the glass container RE intersecting or distance from glass.

would really appreciate any insight.

Hi crackfox,
try this workflow and tell me if it works please.
Open Material Editor (compat mode) > select an empty slot > go on LiveDB > select material > rightclick import.
is the slot still empty?
