When I try to add something gold or glossy to a model in my Cinema 4D - in both the octane render and C4D render - the model now shows up as black...
Am i not doing something right? I am just adding the model straight from the LIVEDB

Hi ultra,
when working with metal and specular materials, the kernel type is quite important. If you switch to PT pr PMC, everything should look already correct. But if you are working in DL AO mode, you need to increase the depth value for glossy and specular in the kernel settings, 8/8 is a good starting value.
