I'd like to know if there will be a command line version of Octane supporting various parameter,
to be able to launch it on a bare linux server? Thanks for any input. ;o))

yes, the commercial versions next month will feature scriptable command line versions.
(these will require a cuda GPU though, although they won't require a display or X11 server)
these are primarily meant for animation rendering with render queue systems like drqueue.
