Exporting 13,000 animated objects

Hi gang,

I'm trying to export 13,000 individual animated objects from Maya to render in Octane Standalone. The objects are very simple 80 face polygonal objects. I've let it run the export for over an hour and no .orbx has been generated but a folder for the assets containing an alembic file is generated.

Am I not giving it enough time? Is there a more efficient way of doing this?

There must be something wrong with your process/scene or your plugin,
I tried the exact same thing : 13 000 individual animated objects of 80 faces.

I exported 200 frames, it took only 3 mn on my pc ! :shock:

Are you using an old version of the plugin ? because the exporter was fixed recently...
