Hi. I´m wondering if anyone has suffered this same problem. I have a scene with a car over a highway. If I turn on motion blur I can see it well on my Live Viewer, but when I try to send the final render to either the Picture Viewer or the render queue, I get blank frames, completely blank and the each frames renders in just over 2 seconds. Any ideas? Thanks (Using latest version of octane and c4d)

If you don't know how plugin works, please leave options at default for render settings and check again. Or make more tests with information from manual.

Hi aoktar. Does that mean I´m doing something wrong? I´ve searched in the manual and the tutorials and haven´t figured it out. Could you please point me to the right part of the manual? Thanks

Propably! It's big mystery to me how can't someone get this! Just make a new scene, add a box and animate. Add an object tag. Add Octane camera and activate motion blur. Render. That's it.

Please read animation rendering, object tag and motion blur sections. Check example scenes.

Respectfully I say that as a licensed costumer, it should be ok to ask things in the forum without being treated like this by the development team. This response is completely disrespectful and unnecessarily aggressive. Yes, I don´t know everything there is to know about the plugin but I think that is the reason the forum exists.
And that is the way I have my scene setup and yet I´m getting no renders, but I´ll look for help elsewhere.

Sorry it sounds like that! It's not easy to answer every questions while trying to work for users. Of course you may ask for help here. But i don't know people how much read manuals/tutorials/etc... And some questions are mostly lack of common knowledge. And i could not spend a lot of words to answer these. Sorry again!

Hi rafaelvamp,
Please, have a look at the following links:
Animation rendering:
https://docs.otoy.com/#cinema-4d-v3-plu ... -rendering
Motion blur:
https://docs.otoy.com/manuals/products/ ... ur-native/
Octane Object tag:
https://docs.otoy.com/manuals/products/ ... bject-tag/
V3 SAMPLE SCENES SET
https://render.otoy.com/plugindownloads ... scenes.rar
Another suggestion is to use the search function in advance mode limiting the search at the Maxon section only. Maybe your question has been already answered hundreds of times
If you cannot find the correct answer, please post some screenshots or a simple scene that shows the issue, otherwise it's a bit difficult to answer directly.
Happy rendering,
ciao beppe

Thanks for the help. I´ve tried everything and so far I get only blank renders. I´´m using the objt¿ct tags and I´ve tried the different motion blur methods available in render settings but so far I only get results in live viewer. I guess I´ll keep on searching.

Hi rafaelvamp,
please share with us a example scene that gives you a blank result in Picture Viewer, in this way we can better understand where is the issue.

Hi. Here´s a stripped down version of my scene. I put the object tag in the tire to allow for motion blur on it, and another object tag on the chassis disabling motion blur. Still, on the live viewer I get motion blur on everything, and in the picture viewer I get nothing. I´ve tried the different options for motion blur on render settings and also changing the auto-detect mode but no results yet.
Thanks for the help.
