Hey Guys,
I was trying to make a similar wood shader to this tutorial, but in c4d with octane of course.

One thing i don't understand though, in the video at 17:00, You can see, that blender has a distance slider in the bump to reach the finer details in the bump texture. Can you help me how could I achieve something similar in octane?

Hi TomiFoldes,
my suggestion is to play with the Gamma value of your bump texture, or even better, add in between a color correction node. You should bevable to obtain the same effect, I guess.
