Hi,

We have an Octane VR subscription license, and two GTX Titan X Pascal. The animation stops after 30 or so frames so we did a few single frame tests and noticed that the render times were the same if we disabled one of the cards.

First one is Titan 1
Second is Titan 2
Third is both GPU's

We are leaving renders on overnight and getting back to only 30-50 frames rendered, it just seems to give up...

So we currently trying to get tot bottom of this..
Is a Titan X pascal classed as 2 GPU's? We are aware of the cap on the subscription version and it would explain our problem.

Heres some info:
Octane Standalone 3.05.3 and Cinema 4D 3.05.3

Asus X99-E WS Workstation
Intel Core i7-6800k
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 32GB
2X 12GB NVIDIA TITAN X

We have a deadline next week so need to get this sorted as soon as possible, even if it means buying full license.

Thanks.

Hi there,

And you are 100% sure you hadve enabled both gpu in Device settings?
Have you tried in the standalone to see if that is working OK?
