Hello!
I knew that something would get wrong when I update to V3. Otoy support convinced me to upgrade to v3, so i did it with all my 5 licenses.
The render was perfect in V2. Now it seem there is a normals Problem within the Octane Plugin.
See the attached Screenshots. Smooth Model vs. Octane V3 Rendering.
Thank you for you help!

Ok, somehow the value of "edges rounding" switched vom 0.000 to 0.100 in V3.
Back to 0.000 and the render is smooth again.

Back to 0.000 and the render is smooth again.

Also the reason of this is your CAD file was converted with unwelded vertices you have a option on "Octane Attributes" (mesh options) just check "merge unwelded vertices" and will working fine the rounded edges may fix your sharp edge on the chain. Or you can fix your cad data manually.danielsiegl wrote:Ok, somehow the value of "edges rounding" switched vom 0.000 to 0.100 in V3.
