I think Refractive have some unexpected bugs to deal with at the moment.
They are probably going to concentrate on getting the OctaneLive accounts set up and then maybe re-issue a Windows build that works better.
There is also the Linux and Mac builds to come.
I think you may have to wait until the next proper release for the bug fix for your issue but keep reporting anything you find.
It will probably be a few weeks or more.
