Great news! I´m guessing it´ll be a paid training? How much will it cost? Any early-bird discounts?

Hey Rafael, thanks for your message. It will be paid. Haven't thought of a price yet. I guess there will be a discount during the 1st week after the launch. Will see how it goes.rafaelvamp wrote:Great news! I´m guessing it´ll be a paid training? How much will it cost? Any early-bird discounts?

I purchased your first series, which was very helpful getting started.
I believe I emailed you, but here's hoping you might also have tips/tricks on optimizing for different types of scenes. For instance, I've found difficulties with interior shots, but obviously some people use Octane in these areas, so their must be some dos/don'ts.
Looking forward!

Good One. Simple Answer: never. He promised it many months ago. Every day advertisement and then suddenly nothing. I dont know why. But i allways feel strange about people when they make much noise and then suddenly dissappear without telling why to all the people that were waiting soooo much on that training. Lefts a bitter taste in my mouth!

I was cheering for this but then it disappeared, I think this is indeed cancelled because, why wouldn't already be available?
He's been playing with RS recently, not that there is any problem with that but he built an audience waiting for this release.

Absolutely Agree. You found the right words. BNuild audiende. When you announce a theatre play, you also have to make a show, otherwise ....Terryvfx wrote:I was cheering for this but then it disappeared, I think this is indeed cancelled because, why wouldn't already be available?

This would have been the only tutorial about fog, scatter, volumetric stuff with Octane 3. Although the plugin came out more than a year ago, there are no informations about how to use it. Only an announcement 2 years ago ((https://home.otoy.com/otoy-unveils-octa ... -renderer/)), no manual, nothing. I always have to browse this shitty forum to have one info about sg, but I don't have luck too often. Not mentioning the Octane Help Window that's not reachable since the last update
.
