ended up getting a PC because mac was getting too pricey to support for this. I have installed octane VR and CUDA drivers for my geforce 660 and have cinema 4d r18.011. I see it isn't supported on main page but here it is https://help.otoy.com/hc/en-us/articles ... tion-Guide
I am still having trouble having it show up in cinema like I did on my mac. any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
update: checked pluggins folder and it is not in there, might be doing something wrong? I tried to manually move the DLL dat and main octane file into folder too, no luck. Stand alone seems to work though?
octane VR for cinema 4d windows 10
Hi wutronic,
you firstly need to update Cinema 4D to R18.028, otherwise the plugin cannot be loaded.
Please, follow the instructions in the readme.txt file for a correct installation.
Happy rendering,

Geforce 660 is Kepler based GPU & it's not too old to be unsupported at this time. I still have 670 in my rig for screens & checked in OctaneRender latelly - it works. Just try to upgrade Your software & it should work. Let us know if You still have any issues =)
