Hey guys
I work at a studio where we have set up an external octane renderfarm and access it via the OctaneRender Network preferences.
We are 7 guys on 7 different computers and everytime someone needs to use the farm (Or needs it the most) it goes "WHO HAS THE FARM!?" in the office. Sometimes its not a problem and a guy jumps off the farm, but sometimes, for whatever reason, its not clear who has it - someone is in a meeting, someone uses the farm without even knowing it etc. Then the detective work sets in and workflow destroyed.
Does anyone have the same issue at their studio? Is there a solution?
Thanks!
How do you share the renderfarm?

hi there.
OTOY seems to be aware of this & they are doing work to improve situation, here is a line taken from latest standalone update, that I guess is going to be available as functionality in plugins as well soon after =)
