I tried moving LocalDB (from the LiveDB menu) this morning to my Dropbox. All seemed to work fine.
But then I rebooted and now LiveDB freezes C4D everytime I open it.
I've tried reinstalling the plugin but the settings remain. Does anyone know where I can find and remove the settings?
Cheers

Already tried it. Stand alone works fine, can change the destination but it still crashes in C4D. Don't remember the default location soaoktar wrote:try from Standalone
I just wanted to wipe the settings instead.

After trying to move it around to different locations with no luck, I put it back in the original location which didn't work. Every time I checked
the settings it was back to my Dropbox location. Then I set it to C:\User\AppData and suddenly it worked again.
I tried again to move it out of there on to Dropbox which worked fine for two days, but then suddenly the same thing happened again.
I tried again to set it to the original destination, no luck.. back to the AppData folder and then it worked.
Seems like I can reproduce the problem so this might be a bug?

Hey I am trying to reproduce this issue.
can you tell me more about how cinema freezes? directly after opening it? or after selecting any item within Octane menu?
by the way the default folder for localDb:
C:\Users\xyz\AppData\Roaming\OctaneRender\localDb
where xyz is your windows login

by the way the default folder for localDb:
C:\Users\xyz\AppData\Roaming\OctaneRender\localDb

and the easiest way to roll back to default location is opening up preferences_v2 file within
C:\Users\xyz\AppData\Roaming\OctaneRender
and searching and erase this line:
<attr name='localDbDirectory' type='10'>C:\Users\xyz\Documents\someDB</attr>

It would only happen when I opened up LiveDB. I haven't moved my folder since I got it to work so now it's stable. But it would do this every time
I created a new LocalDB outside of the default folder. It's been a while now though so don't exactly remember the steps I went through to recreate the problem.
