Maybe it isn't a bug but I want to post it here:
I made the switch from 3dsmax 2015 to 2017 and noticed blurry viewport textures in Octane 3 v4.25. I tend to put images as a reference like floorplans on a plane. Of course I raised the viewport texture settings to 4096pixel but it didn't change.
With old Octane2 and 3ds max 2015 it was already crispy.
My workaround is to drag & drop a 2D image from the Explorer on the surface because the texture is crisp and sharp then. It also an issue if I UVW Xform materials or adjust box mapping.
Is it a but or did I miss a feature or checkbox?

Yes would be great. Good to know about the preview values. I thought it has something to do with the material editor and not the viwport. So I didn't touch it.
Thnaks for your help!
