Hi,
The PNG and EXR formats for saving out renders is based on the Standalone. We could look into extending the range of save formats beyond what the Standalone supports. Given the considerable updates in progress right now, we will need to assess whereabouts in our current workload it can fit. From this standpoint, it seems like a fairly simple implementation. We may either be able to have it within the next two releases, or we may look towards tweaks of this nature after the grunt work for the current major features is stable.

Please just keep png. Unless the Jpg is lossless, I really don't want that kind of compression.

Why not have the choice?
Some vr programs requires jpg, so I have to open the image in photoshop and save as jpg - every time
