Hey there,

I'm having an issue with the network render on one of my machines.

I have three computers all working with octane, all using stand-alone and plugin version 3.04.3. Two of the machines display all machines in my network render settings but one of them doesn't seem to list the others. It appears on the other machines, but doesn't show them back for some reason.

Any idea why this might be and how I could get around this? Firewall is turned off.

Thanks

Hi dickonknowles,
it would be nice to have more detailed info about your network setup.
How many GPUs do you have in your LAN?
OctaneRender network is limited to 20 GPUs per Master.
You cannot use a machine as Master and Slave in the same time, unless you define which GPUs must be used by the daemon and which not.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

So, it's three machines, with 8 GPUs in total.

As I say, it's slightly odd because two of the machines are able to see all machines in the Network render but one of them isn't able to see any, even though it is able to be seen by others.

Not sure if this is the information you need?
