Dear Lord can we please get proper particle support? Especially smoke and fire out of x-particles without having to do Turbulence FD. I'm begging! I'm on the floor right now on my knees begging! I downloaded the cycles 4d demo and so far not impressed.

We need a proper ground albedo color selection for the sun/sky system. The way it is now, we can only select the sky color and the sun color. The default ground color is too bright and gives inaccurate results for interior scenes, and the only way to get proper shadows in interiors is either use an hdri with a dark ground color, or make a huge plane and give it a dark color.
Thanks,
Konstantinos

since i'm not able to find an other "feature-wishlist"-ish thread than this one, i'll try and express my wish here:
it woul be great to have a "boolean on rendertime" feature.
the new vray has such an objekt, that let's you do your boolean operations on rendertime. also maxwell, but that one's way more limited than the one vray's providing.
would be great to have such a thing in octane.
i am using c4d, and originally wanted to post it over there, where aoktar is ruling, but then i thought, this probably would be an engine-feature, that would need to be provided by enginge first, so only after that aoktar could then try and translate it into c4d.
thx for considaration.

Need the ability to reload an OBJ with an ABC file or/and copy the materials already set up in Octane + nodes to be copied to the .abc file which have the same material pins.
Only difference is that the object (obj) now is imported animated (abc).

Can we please get an addition to the Random Color Texture, to be able to scatter variation to mesh parts and not just instances. I have cut out floorboards (Each board is its own unwelded element but part of one mesh) for an interior and want to give slight variations in colour but the Random Color Texture only supports instances.
any comment on that one? is there a chance that we could get that?mesut wrote:since i'm not able to find an other "feature-wishlist"-ish thread than this one, i'll try and express my wish here:
