Hi Simon,
This is something that has come up previously, but it has also worked properly previously.
The avi in the opacity channel allows crawl in, which can be nicely timed.
Unfortunately, viewport is not updating for animation, nor basic viewing.

I have attached the .car with the moviemask.avi file. Note the .avi file is rotated 90 deg. in the .car file in order to align with the UVs.

Separate question ( top image) : We have Alpha image as an option for the first input. The alpha function is not working. The .png does have transparancy. If Alpha image is offered, it should work in the elected channel, yes?
This would allow an alpha image that can be revealed by an avi in the opacity channel.

Thank you,
Rick

I think I know what the problem is with the .avi and a fix should be available in the next release.

I need to retest, but as far as I remember, if an image in the diffuse channel has an alpha, then it will be used.

The AVI animation issue should be fixed in this release. I still need to investigate the Alpha channel issue.
