Hey there,

I just bought a new laptop and have a pc workstation as main computer.
Now both have issues with the node editor of octane, they both hang frequently and it is not workable whatsoever.
Both windows 10, on my main workstation I have an nvidea 780ti and on my laptop also an nvidea GeForce GTX 960M.
When I use the node editor it hangs and c4d stops working, so I have to do a restart of cinema but have the same lingering problem all the time.

What to do?

Cheers,

Nick

Try to post more information about your scenes and how these are happening. Some pictures or video capture. Your post is not giving any clue.

Hey, I just started a test scene.
So 1 plane, 1 sphere and then I went into the node editor to play with it for a bit.
And then bam, it froze.
This is nothing new to me, I have had big scenes and small scenes it doesnt look like there is a problem I guess.
They all occasinaly freeze and make it not nice to work with.

It realy isn't interesting to see a screenshot of a frozen node editor I guess simply because in the last freeze there where only 3 nodes in there.

Well! This is not expected one.
Try to disable previews of nodes. See for any difference. Try "update while drag" option.
