yes it could & it will be =) as PCIe is supported much better via Thunderbolt3..- this USB typeC conector is also much more unievrsal.. so I would not be surprised to see more & more of those comming =)

Hi Guys,
I can confirm that the Razer Core connected to the Razer Stealth works with Octane v3 standalone and the Modo plugin.
It is currently working with a 1070. In the coming weeks I will also try to get it to work with my MacBook Pro via thunderbolt 2 adapter since I know many people would like to run Octane via egpu. If you are interested in progress with egpu via Razer Core on Macs check out netkas.org:
