So we recently had an awesome client ask us for some serious load of 3d work and my job actually gave me budget to build myself a machine to use as a render station.

I built a workstation and it pretty much became mine. Client is loving all of the work and now i have another 10k to build two more.
These machines are meant to be workstations (photoshop, ae, c4d, octane, premiere, sound design etc) type of work.

Question to you guys is: Would you build something different?

Another dude who built a quad 980Ti Hybrid workstation went with Thermaltake Core X9, and was quite pleased. If I was building right now, this is what I would get. And I would definitely slap a water cooler on CPU as well. It is not just a matter of being cooler and more quiet, but also getting all heat out of the beast, as efficiently as possible, imho. Core X9 would allow five 120mm rads/fans with ease, and leave plenty of spots for more, in the unlikely event you would need them...

For around 10K EUR I can build dual xeon E5 v4 with 7x 1080 fully watercooled, dead silent. This is sick!

The list looks good -I'd go with T2 power supply and win7 to have 8gb of vram, not 6.5gb.

What motherboard and casing could fit these?
