It's a big trouble for us.

Actually some of our render computer are locked on 2.23 and v3... So half of our render farm does'nt find the licence.

We have to do something to fix that. Can't we lock octane v3 with the offline activation?

Hi pump_studio,
Nothing V3 offline.
1 signout in OctaneSA V3
2 active OctaneSA V2
3 V2 works

Hi pump_studio,
Yes it's correct. Precisely to avoid this issue in the future, the Octane V3 license is floating now.

Im trying to get all of our studio over to v3 for the new year but i'm still finding major problems with older scenes.

1. Some scenes opening as white in v3 still (ill post a new bug report)

2. Long scene evaluation times, and sometimes it never arrives, maybe running out of memory, but these are 8gb cards for my testing when the same scene would work at 6gb in v2

3. Its looking like geometry is loading every frame for animation according to this post - viewtopic.php?f=27&t=57472

I dont know why Octane is even suggesting a v4 while there are so many deal breaking problems with v3 so long after its release.
