hi guys,

I bought a GTX1080 for gaming and already have a GTX980 for octane render. I want to use both cards at same time to work on C4D OCTANE.

How parameter that ? If I undestand well, SLI must be disabled. How will I have VRAM (8 or 4 Go) ?

thanks for your experience sharing.

hi Bertrand,

if You would like to use both cards there's no problem, just make sure You download the latest v2 or v3 builds.

with vram, if You use both cards at the same time You will be only able to get maximum of 4GB. However You can plug Your monitor(s) into 8GB card, check priority in settings (so there would be some juice left for sytem/screens) & that's it.

if however You would get to work on project that is bigger than 4GB, simply use only 8GB card. You can take of priority & plug Your screens into 4GB card - so system would run on separate card while rendering would happen on new 8GB unit =)
