I swear it did it before with render layers, but now I cant get an alpha with my render layers? Even if I save it as a png....
Also, is there any way to get an alpha with the reflections. So JUST the reflections are on there and not everything else? I dont get what the point is to just render a reflection layer, when I have to clip it out anyways...

The reflection layer needs to be added to the background. As an alternative, you can enable the option "Affect alpha" in transparent specular materials. If you do that, the transmission of the specular material will behave as if opacity is 0.Also, is there any way to get an alpha with the reflections.
