Using a BITMAP is not correct way for our workflow. Why we have an IMAGETEXTURE have you ever thought? It's for consistency of native image type in octane. When you don't use that you're forcing the plugin to make estimations for you.sguitton wrote:Same issue :
No Alpha (bitmap /psd Layer Alpha) in final render (works well in live viewer)…
Why such difference between live viewer and Final render ?
That makes me mad !![]()
Updated to R18 (OSX), same issue that R17.
(… no scaled model)
No displacement in render

When you use subset in PSD, plugin interfere the transfers. Extract and render layer and pass as a memory buffer. This is the difference. Don't know why it doesn't work on PV but LV. Need to dig in a free time.sguitton wrote:ok, I'll give a try.
Bitmap is extremely useful to use only 1 psd file with multiple layers to set alpha, colors, normals etc
Btw, as it works in LV, why shouldn't it work in PV…

Yes, I tried all the suggestions and still getting the same result. When I send the scene to the standalone, the issue is resolved.
