I have a bunch of trees in my Octane Scatter Object and then distributed on a plane with a wave animation using the formula deformer. It appears as if when the trees reach a 100% vertical state they snap to a new rotation degree. Is there a way to 'lock' the rotation of the trees?

Attached scene file and test render.
(Replaced the trees with mannequins to get the scene file size down, still gets the point across if you look at their feet switch direction.)

Windows 10
Octane Standalone 3.04.3
C4D Plugin 3.04.3
Cinema 4D R17.055

Thank you very much!
