Hello there fellow humans!

So I got a little budget from my company to buy / build a massive multi gpu beast for all my Octane rendering needs . Since it's way cheaper to build it yourself I'm thinking about doing so (plus gain some knowledge on the way. )
The minor problem is that I have zero experience in building a gpu render computer (I did manage to cram 2x gtx 780 ti and 1x gtx 690 in my rog extreme 4 at home, so I know the basics).
Does any of you know a guide / walkthrough on how to get started? Im also a bit confused on what kind of gpu to buy. should i go for older models (6x 780ti) which are cheaper or do i setup my build for newer gpu for example 4x1080?

I've searched this forum and google a bit but couldn't find the holy grail for my awnsers.
I hope you guys could help me out! :D

cheers!
Rene

"little budget" ..."build a massive multi gpu beast"
Curious about that mix ;)

Why not let someone (Smicha :geek: ) build it for you ?
Or do you want to learn?
