So, I have a fully animated scene with lightning, materials... everything. Now I need to send an ORBX to my client and I´m really struggling with the export. I just don´t know how to do it. I mean, when I start the plugin, it loads fine, all the materials are there, the animation is there... all ok. But, how do I export it to Octane Standalone retaining animation, materials, lightning... everything as it appears in the plugin window, so my client can render it in its system?
I tried exporting a regular ORBX file, but it lacks the animation. Exporting alembic doesn´t get materials... etc. Is there a limitation about exporting animations?
How to export animations???

octane.saveAnimation (https://docs.otoy.com/manuals/products/ ... nimations/). There was an issue with the animation export a couple of releases ago - so make sure you use the latest 3.4.3.114 release half way down the page at viewtopic.php?f=34&t=55078&start=140.

Yes, I tried that command line export, but it exports a humungous file (I stopped at 5 frames on a file of 1.5 GBs, the complete scene being 250 frames). In other try, I let it continue exporting (at ridiculous speed) until Modo crashed.
I have a buddy that uses the Lightwave plugin, and he says it exports just fine from there.
EDIT: I attach a preview of the scene. It´s full of replicators with and animated car on the road and the camera is also animated. Is the problem the scene being too big?

If you are exporting a large animation - export to OCS rather than ORBX (since this will save octane needing to compress the large ABC files into the ORBX file). Which version of the plugin are you using pls? There have been improvements when saving animations with every release, so you need to be using the latest test release as linked in the above post.
