Clean install of nVidia driver forces SLI to be turned on

Just wanted to let you know I noticed that when installing new nVidia driver SLI is turned on by default. So every time you update nVidia driver and have a physical SLI bridge please make sure you turn it off, unless intended.
3090, Titan, Quadro, Xeon Scalable Supermicro, 768GB RAM; Sketchup Pro, Classical Architecture.

Thank you for confirming.

When installing the 1080s I opted not to add a SLI bridge anymore.

In addition I noticed that since a few driver versions the default Audio device is changed to Nvidia High Definition Audio with every nvidia driver update as well even when another device like Realtek was selected before.

did not observe this anymore with the latest driver updates -> possibly fixed...

Thank you for that. Maybe this is the reason why I have over 2 minutes of black screen in win7 while booting to windows when installed the nvidia driver on 1080 (actually 7x1080). Any help?
