I'm trying to produce a very simple bump for a flat surface. In my (kind of complex) scene when I hook up the Octane Noise node as bump, there is no result. Same with displacement. Nothing happens.
When I tried this on a new scene with a simple sphere - I was able to reproduce the displacement problem (the noise worked for some reason).

see the attached image.

This is not the first time I encounter this problem. Very often when I want to use the Octane procedurals for bump/displacement I get nothing.
What am I missing here?

Hi. You cannot use procedural textures for displacement (pls see the link in my signature for details). I think there was an issue with the Noise node in a recent release of Octane, so check the 3.04.3 version which I will post in the next 12hrs.
