Hi,
I have made a lot of animations with Octane and Modo, but sometimes, I simply can't have motion blur.
I post an example of an animation, exported from Modo with octane.saveAnimation command, that I want to render with Octane Standalone, and I don't know why I can't have motion blur.

It must be a stupid setting I can't find , but any help will be very appreciated.

Which version of the plugin are you using pls? And do you have Live Geometry Update enabled on the sphere?

I have the latest build.
And you are right, it is because of the live geometry update. When I enable it, it works.
Thank you a lot !

I think maybe I've found a problem with the 2 latest build of the Modo plug-in and the motion blur with animated character.
You can test with the attached scene.
When exporting with the octane.saveAnimation command with the 3.3.4.113 and the 3.3.3.112, I can't have motion blur in the standalone.
If I export with the 3.3.2.110, with the "load all frames" setting enabled, I can have motion blur in the standalone.

Maybe there is a trick in the standalone that corrects this problem, but I don't know it.
Maybe there is a setting in the two latest builds thats replaces the "load all frames" that I've not found.

It seems to me that these two builds need a lot of RAM to export complex scenes, and not the 3.3.2.110. Maybe it is because of this "load all frammes" setting too.

I can provide more screenshots or scenes if you need.

Hi - vertex motion blur should definitely be working with your scene - but is not. I have escalated this issue to the OTOY devs to determine why this is the case. I will let you know when I hear back.

The problem turned out to be the 0 vertex speeds being provided by Modo (I have reported this issue to TheFoundry previously). I have removed the vertex speeds when loading the scene into Octane to get around this issue. You can find a build with this change at viewtopic.php?f=34&t=55078&p=293011#p293011.

Thanks
