Hi,
just a quick question. Not sure is this the plug-in issue or Octane's.
When you open the Octane Passes palette and tick a new pass to be rendered, all of the previous passes (i.e. Beauty) re-render as well.
Could this be changed only to render the new pass and not affect the already rendered stuff? Especially that these extra passes get their own samples limit, different from Beauty pass??
Not so much an issue, but it would make more sense to work like that.
adding a pass restarts the render

Good idea. This is implemented in the next release. I notice that Octane Standalone restarts the render if you are viewing an info pass and enable/disable another render pass - so this is a function of Octane, and present in the next Modo plugin build.

That would help me a bit in my workflow (I'm just sometimes in the middle of doing a beauty pass and I suddently remember I forgot to tick a material_ID pass, I go into the passes pallet, tick the right one and....face_off wrote:Good idea.
