They are nearly maxed out apparently.
To be on the safe side.
My latest OC settings are:
Core voltage +90
Powerlimit 112
temp limit 83
Core clock 200
Mem Clock 550

This is more stable. Less OC but stable...

OK, I'm getting a bit irritated here

Is or is not the new architecture performing at 2x the speed according to all the numbers - 4 teraflops on 980ti vs 8 teraflops on 1080

- is this crap happening all over again - marginally faster new architecture, with promises of fixing it up, and then a few years later, no fix, new hardware ..

- OK is the 1080 ti going to go through the same crap, new architecture, new setbacks?

- I still cannot believe that 980ti is 15-20% faster than a 590 gtx - 4-5 years later..

- what's the speed upgrade from 980ti ? - I just wanna know that

imo a more fare comparison would be 580 (not dual 590) with 980 (not Ti) would show appr 54% faster,
and yes, I am wishing for double faster speed of 1080Ti compared to 980Ti as well
but then, not to be dissapointed too much, I rather just wait and see what time will bring (cuda 8 optimalization by Otoy and 1080ti release), instead of hoping the speculations will come true.
I am applying my favourite quote to myself and : “Patience you must have my young padawan”

Very strange: I have about 125 Points with my Palit 1070 Super Jetstream.

The Clocks are the same like the Golden Sample Gainward - but its a bit slower. Could this be a driver thing?
Iam on 373.06

I just bought another 1070 FE

This benchmark gave 417 points score
So three 1070"s bought at $1400 in total gives me 417 score with OC

I guess that is pretty cost effective..
According to Official results with average scores..
4x GTX 780 + 1x GTX TITAN Score 417
3x 980 ti Score 375

Hmm. That are about 139 Points per card?! Okay you OCed them - so I cant compare them to my Palit Super Jetstream.

Which Nvidia Driver are u using?
Iam asking because everytime I run the Octane Bench, I get another point value....First time I got 125...Then 118, 120, 117..

But Acording to that result, a 1080 is only 1.2 times faster than my 780 ti..... Weird. I have 12 Gpus, on the benchmark ( only recognized my first 3 GPUS on the workstation )
my benchmark was over 3 times faster than your 1080..... i expected a 1080 to be twice as fast as a 780ti.....

Any ideas????

Why the benchmark app ony recognizes the motherboard gpus and not the network?

With stock clocks 1070 makes around 120. My driver is 369.30 currently..

That 3d rendering performance is great. Which brand/make of 1070 FE's did you purchase?
Because I have 180+ GPU processers in 16 tweaked/multiOS systems - Character limit prevents detailed stats.
